Cancellation & Refund Policy

SystemCity (https://systemcity.io), operated by Mohit Kumar, offers credit-based AI-powered system design evaluations. Credits are purchased as one-time digital goods through Stripe. This policy describes the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Credits purchased on SystemCity are digital goods — they are delivered instantly to your account upon successful payment. Each credit is consumed when you request an AI-powered evaluation of a system design. Credits are:

• Non-transferable between accounts
• Non-convertible to cash
• Non-expiring — they remain in your account until used

Since credit packs are one-time purchases (not subscriptions), there is no recurring billing to cancel. Each purchase is a single transaction.

• Before payment: You may abandon the checkout at any time before completing payment. No charge will occur.
• After payment: The purchase is complete and credits are delivered instantly. Cancellation is handled through our refund process below.

To request a refund, send an email to:

Please include the following in your email:

1. Subject line: "Refund Request"
2. Your registered email address
3. Date of purchase
4. Stripe payment receipt or transaction ID
5. Reason for the refund request

We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase.

Free credits (including welcome bonuses) are provided at no cost and are not eligible for refund or cash conversion under any circumstances.

If you delete your account, any remaining credits (purchased or free) will be permanently forfeited. We recommend using your credits before requesting account deletion. Once deleted, credits cannot be recovered or refunded.

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank instead of contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we will work to resolve the issue directly.

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
